FIELD TRIP FUN

Monday, October 31 Indian Springs Kindergarteners went on a field trip to Cleek Farm and Corn Maze in Kingsport.  The weather was chilly but we still had tons of fun! 

Our first adventure was going through the muddy corn maze.  We found our five posts and colors which fit code #44 for a group bear hug.

We had fun on the hay ride. Our ride through the creek was almost everyone's favorite part of the ride.

The Cow Train was exciting.  One of our students even had the chance to ride in a cow that had the same name as her.  Too cute!

And last but not least, we enjoyed our lunch under the shelter before boarding the warm bus headed for home (school).

Our Beautiful Butterfly

OUR BUTTERFLY HAS FLOWN AWAY.....





Our class was given the opportunity to watch a caterpillar go from caterpillar to beautiful butterfly.  We saw the entire process as it hatched from the chrysalis it had formed.  We released our Monarch butterfly yesterday so that it can fly to Mexico for the winter.  Here are some pictures of it's release:
